MAREP partners with a number of long-term care facilities where on-site research is conducted on best practices and innovative approaches to care.
MAREP also partners with agencies, organizations, and individuals (e.g., Psychogeriatric Resource Consultants) on specific projects.
The Long Term Care Convention and Trade Show sponsored by the Ontario Long Term Care Association (OLTCA), Ontario Residential Care Association (ORCA) and Ontario Home Health Care Providers' Association (OHHCPA) has recognized MAREP for five years by directing their silent auction funds to the program. Every year during Nursing Home Week, facilities raise funds for the charity of their choice and MAREP has been the grateful recipient of these funds from many facilities.
Although MAREP's research projects are funded by research grants, all its knowledge translation activities are funded actively through donations from individuals and groups.
